Directions to Current GIB Work Site
Carter Crossing is located at 11th Court and Washington Park in Waukegan Illinois. Please plan to arrive promptly at the worksite at 8 am for check-in. From Glencoe, the approximate distance is 18 miles, allow 30 minutes for driving time:
- Take Green Bay Road north to County Line/Lake Cook Road
- Turn left onto County Line/Lake Cook Road
- Merge onto Skokie Highway/US-41 North via the ramp to Waukegan
- After 12-13 miles, turn right at Martin Luther King Drive/22nd Street
- Take Martin Luther King Drive east to Green Bay Road/RT131. Turn left (north)
- Take Green Bay Road north to 14th Street/CR-A29. Turn right
- Just past Lewis, get into the left lane
- Travel two blocks, turn left at Washington Park and follow to 11th Court at Washington Park
- Park around 11th and walk north on Washington Park.
